The premise of the Lifetime movie His Perfect Obsession is a doozy. Abigail Jones (Ali Skovbye, When Calls the Heart), a teenager who lost her eyesight less than a year ago, visits the small town where her mother Allison grew up. They’re in town to attend the funeral for Allison’s Aunt Charlotte. During their visit, Allison meets Aunt Charlotte’s accountant Bart McGregor (Brendan Murray), who unbeknownst to Allison has a thing for her. When Allison’s husband and Burt’s Norma Bates-esque mother are found murdered, Allison starts to put two and two together. It’s up to blind Abigail (who uses her newly acute senses) to save he mother from the sick and sinister Bart.
Allison is portrayed by Arianne Zucker. She’s best known for her role as Nicole Walker/ Nicole DiMera/ Nicole Walker Kiriakis on the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives, for which she’s been nominated for three Emmy Awards (2010, 2013, 2014).
