On the Married to Medicine episode “Emotional Workout,” while the feud between Heavenly and Mariah continues to heat up, there is a moment of peacefulness among the women (without Mariah in the room). After feeling like outcasts in Quad’s life, the ladies get Quad to open up to them. “On a daily basis, I’m struggling to hold on to my happiness,” says Quad in between sobs. When she breaks down in tears, Heavenly interrupts Quad and asks, “Why do you stay in a situation that’s not good for you? Why?” Heavenly adds with a hint of frustration, “Because it doesn’t make sense, Quad. If you’re that unhappy, damn it, make yourself happy.”
Quad apologizes for making the ladies feel like outcasts which prompts Simone to tell Quad, “We love you, but you cannot put us on a shelf and play with us on the days you choose to.” Simone reminds Quad that you should treat people the way you want to be treated. Quad says the sisterhood and the closeness she felt with her friends “blew my wig back.” Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
