In the Season 4 premiere of Better Call Saul, “Smoke”, while Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) struggles to cope with Chuck’s (Michael McKean) tragic death, and Howard (Patrick Fabian) makes a startling confession, Mike (Jonathan Banks) ponders his role at Madrigal. In the sneak peek video below, Mike is in the break room when two employees walk in arguing about martial arts and boxing. “Boxing is a sport, martial arts is life and death,” says one guy who clearly hasn’t participated in either. They go on to compare the talents of Bruce Lee to Muhammad Ali.

Mike rolls his eyes when the guy advocating Bruce Lee imagines Bruce Lee winning a fight against Ali. Mike asks, “Does he have a gun?” When the man asks “I’m sorry?” Mike says, “Because if he doesn’t, it’s Ali in three minutes or less.” That’s Mike’s way of trying to blend in. Better Call Saul airs Mondays at 9pm on AMC.
