The second season of World of Dance lives up to the World in its title by bringing in more dancers from around the world. On the season premiere, judges Jennifer Lopez, NeYo and Derek Hough watch the Canadian all-female troupe Flips, Japan’s locking duo Hilty & Bosch, and 9x consecutive world champion salsa dancers Karen y Ricardo from Santiago, Chile. Hilty & Bosch didn’t make it through, and Flips just barely made it with a 82.7 score. But it was Karen y Ricardo who stole the show. They’ve been together since the age of 9 and are now engaged to be married!

After their a-mazing performance on World of Dance, all three judges stand up out of their chairs in disbelief about what they have just watched. Derek Hough jumps on the judge’s table and clap with excitement. When it comes time to lock in their scores: NeYo and Jennifer Lopez give Karen y Ricardo 100 scores while ballroom pro dancer Derek Hough gave them a 99. So close to a perfect 100 score! World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after America’s Got Talent.
