On the season finale of Teen Mom 2, Briana DeJesus talks to producer Alexis about Javi and her most recent plastic surgery. Briana explains why she broke up with Javi after “seeing a side of him I never saw before.” With her sister Brittany listening, Briana tells them Javi wanted her to move to Delaware. Briana thought it was too early in their relationship. When she suggested that he move to Miami, he said he would never do that because his son is in Delaware. Brittany interrupts to say Javi just wants to trap Briana “in that raggedy-ass state” just like what he did to his ex-wife Kailyn.
Briana explains there’s more to the story. Javi didn’t want her to get the surgery let alone have it televised and discussed on Snapchat. Briana told Javi that Dr. Miami gave her a discount so he could put it on Snapchat — “so it’s happening whether you like it or not.”
Dr. Miami is a real life plastic surgeon. (He doesn’t just play one on TV.) His real name is Dr. Michael Salzhauer. Using his alter ego Dr. Miami, Salzhauer (Dr. Miami) has become famous for posting his clients’ surgeries online (with their permission). He even had his own reality TV show “Dr. Miami” on WEtv which was filmed in his Miami office, Bal Harbor Plastic Surgery Associates. Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
