On the fifth night of qualifiers on Season 2 of World of Dance, junior ballroom dancers Daniel and Mishella strut their stuff. The duo from Los Angeles, California dance to the Bruno Mars song “Runaway Baby,” which judge Derek Hough is a fan of (he sings along as he watches the kids dance).
This isn’t their first time on TV. Well, not Daniel’s. Daniel Noviko and his mother Alla competed on America’s Got Talent in 2016. Yes, they danced together. (Alla is a ballroom dance instructor.) Just a few days before World of Dance airs Daniel and Mishella’s qualifiers performance on the show, the pre-teens won the prestigious Blackpool Latin Under 12 (see photo below). World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after America’s Got Talent.
