On Season 4 of Running Wild with Bear Grylls, the outdoor adventurer invites Oscar-nominated actor and human rights activist Don Cheadle to go outside of his comfort zone. In the episode, Don and Bear are dropped from a helicopter, use a deer antler to cross a raging river, and rappel a massive cliff, among other daring feats. When not on a movie set or working on his non-profit organization Not On Our Watch Project, Cheadle spends time with his family. In 2016, he married his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Bridgid Coulter. Their children are Ayana Tai, 23, and Imani, 21.
Bridgid Coulter spends most of her professional time as an interior designer. But she’s an actress, too. She made her acting debut in 1990 as Bettina on A Different World, a spin-off of The Cosby Show. Coulter is also known for her roles on House of Lies (Mekhi Phifer/Dre’s wife), Class of ’96 (Janet Kiehler), and Family Matters (Jolene), among others. Running Wild with Bear Grylls airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC, right before American Ninja Warrior.
