On the David Tutera’s CELEBrations episode “Zendaya,” David’s client is the beautiful teen pop icon, actress (Disney’s K.C. Undercover), singer and dancer Zendaya. And now the 21-year-old is adding shoe designer to her resume. Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach (America’s Next Top Model judge) have been working on her own line of shoes — Sole of Daya (her nickname is Daya) — for about a year and they’re now ready to show them off to the world.
Zendaya has hired David for the launch party. Zendaya tells David she wants the event to feel “elegant” and “very expensive.” She wants the shoes “to be like art, almost” and suggests having shoe chandeliers.
This isn’t Zendaya’s first time launching a clothing label. In 2013, she rolled out Shake It Up Dance Clothing Line by Zendaya. In 2016, she launched her own clothing line Daya by Zendaya. David Tutera’s CELEBrations airs Fridays at 10pm on WE tv.
