On the Little Women: LA episode “Sober Celebration,” the failed business partnerships between the ladies continue to wreak havoc. Tonya is still mad about Terra’s Black Girl Moscato brand and Jasmine learned that after turning down Elena’s 70/30 Beauty Bar partnership deal, Elena made an offer to Terra. But there’s one Little Woman who’s ready to celebrate. Christy Gibel is now eight years sober and she wants to have a party. That kind of good news celebration shouldn’t cause any drama, right? Wrong!
When Christy and Todd meet with the party planner, Christy says she doesn’t want any alcohol at the party (mocktinis would do) and “nothing formal” for her bohemian-themed event. Christy tells the planner and Todd that she’s inviting the ladies on the show and their spouses, her sober friends and Lila. Todd asks Christy if she remembers the last time Tonya and Lila were together. Christy says she spoke to Tonya about it and she said to go ahead and invite Lila. “This will be a sobering experience,” kids Todd. That said, Tonya also told Christy not to tell Terra (who also doesn’t get along with Lila). “Oh good, so it’s a surprise party too,” says Todd which makes Christy laugh too. Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime.
