In the Bar Rescue episode “Back to the Bar: Blue in the Frog Face,” Jon Taffer revisits two bars that he renovated — Blue Frog’s Local 22 in Chicago and Boulder Lodge Bar & Grill (formerly Mac and Chester’s Standing Room Only) in Oak Grove, Minnesota. Mac and Chester’s SRO was a memorable location as it had two bars (one indoors, one outdoors) and four softball fields in its backyard. But it wasn’t known as a softball bar, it was known mostly as a biker bar, which didn’t help keep the softball players and families around for long.

The Bar Rescue makeover of Mac and Chester’s SRO occurred in 2015. After two years, the bar reverted and renamed itself as Back to the SRO Bar & Grill. In January 2018, the property was put on the market and listed for $1 million. That includes 21 acres of land including the four softball fields. New episodes of Bar Rescue air Sundays at 10pm on Paramount Network.
