In The Big Bang Theory episode “The Monetary Insufficiency,” Sheldon (Jim Parsons) tells Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) that he plans to ask the university for “some funding” for his research. They’re shocked when he tells them he’s asking for $500 million. University President Siebert is too. Last time we saw Siebert was in the 2012 episode “The Rothman Disintegration,” where Sheldon fought Kripke (John Ross Bowie) for a coveted office on campus. (See above photo.)
