In the Grey’s Anatomy episode “Beautiful Dreamer” while Alex’s patient Kimmie wants to enjoy her final days outside of the hospital, Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is approached by an agent from ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). At Grey Sloan, he introduces himself as Agent Martin Fields and tells her “I need to speak with one of your surgeons.” One of the surgical interns. Agent Fields is portrayed by Joel Murray, the youngest brother of actor Bill Murray. (See family photo below.)

Joel Murray is known for his roles on The Leftovers (George Brevity), Mike & Molly (Dr. Jeffries), Mad Men (Fred Rumsen, see photo below), Shameless (Eddie Jackson), Still Standing (Danny “Fitz” Fitzsimmons), Dharma & Greg (Pete Cavanaugh), and Love & War (Ray Litvak), among others. Murray, the younger brother of Bill Murray, made his acting debut in the 1986 film One Crazy Summer (see link above) with John Cusack and Demi Moore. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC, right before Station 19.
