In the Station 19 episode “Stronger Together,” Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz), Jack (Grey Damon), and 18 other firefighters take a grueling drill test as they vie to become Captain of Station 19. As ABC says, “The competition heats up and someone’s about to get burned.” Fire Chief Ripley oversees the drill.
Fire Chief Ripley is portrayed by Brett Tucker. The Australian-born actor is known for his roles on The Americans (Benjamin Stobert), Newton’s Law (Callum Docker), Mistresses (Harry Davis), Spartacus: War of the Damned (Varinius), and in the popular Australian soap operas Neighbours (Daniel “Fitzy” Fitzgerald) and McLeod’s Daughters (Dave Brewer), among others. Station 19 airs Thursdays at 9pm on ABC, right after Grey’s Anatomy and right before Scandal.
