When Rayshun LaMarr sings, he means it. His talent and emotion have brought him to the Knockout Round of The Voice Season 14. For his Blind Audition he sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” and he made everyone in the audience feel it. After being diagnosed with lymphoma and multicentric Castleman’s disease, which caused him to lose much of his hearing, vision and voice, Rayshun never stopped believing.

For the Battle Round, the 33-year-old from Chapel Hill, North Carolina sang “Sweet Thing” with Tish Haynes Keys who was stolen by Kelly Clarkson. Now for the Knockout, Rayshun is taking on Alicia Keys’ signature song, Fallin’. It’s a challenge for Rayshun to sing — for anyone, really. Fallin’ is composed in the key of E minor with Keys’ vocal range spanning from the low-note of B3 to the high-note of E5. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
