In the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta episode “Dangerous Liaisons,” Stevie J tells his daughter Savannah and his ex Mimi and her new girlfriend Ty that he’s headed to New York. He says, “They’re trying to like give me four months.” He’s referring to four months in jail. When Mimi asks, “What happened?” Stevie says, “They want millions of dollars.” Not for tax evasion but for back child support. He’s been dealing with the same child support case since 1998, thanks to Savannah and Stevie Junior’s mom. He says when the kids were younger, “I made a lot more money than I do now.” There is a judgement against him for $1.3 million which he calls “beyond excessive.”
According to the New York Daily News, Jordan earns $27,000 a month for starring in Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Based on that monthly salary, it would take him 48 months or 4 years to pay off $1.3 million. And that’s without taxes. Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
