In the Lifetime movie The Midwife’s Deception, midwife Jina is delighted to meet her new client, 7-months pregnant Sara Miller (Katie Savoy, Sammi on Living with Models). Sara wants to have a natural birth at home. But when Sara suspects that Jina might be hiding something, Jina tells her, “Don’t be paranoid.” But she should be. Those early maternal instincts are right, Sara! Jina tries to make a move on Sara’s husband Daniel (Billy Armstrong, Mark on Nashville), among other things — like setting the living room on fire. What does Jina want? The baby, of course!
Jina is portrayed by Penelope Mitchell. She’s known for her roles on The Vampire Diaries (twin Liv Parker, see photos below), Netflix’s Hemlock Grove (Letha Godfrey), and in the 2015 film Curve with Dancing with the Stars‘ Julianne Hough, among others. The Midwife’s Deception premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, March 18 at 8pm.
