Get ready America, the original housemates from MTV’s infamous Jersey Shore are reuniting. This time they’re gonna get loud in Miami Beach, Florida. Sure, things have changed (some got married and had kids), but that won’t stop working moms Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni JWOWW Farley from having a good time. Plus, their partners-in-crime Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Deena Nicole Cortese, Vinny Guardagnino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will be there too. The only original housemate who passed on the trip was Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. Some Jersey Shore fans will be surprised to learn that Snooki’s husband Jionni LaValle isn’t in the Jersey Shore Family Vacation house, either.
Jionni did appear on his wife’s spin-off show Snooki & JWOWW. He and Snooki became engaged before the first season aired. They married after the final season, Season 4, in November 2014. And in 2016, the married couple starred in another spin-off, Nicole & Jionni’s Shore Flip. But it seems like Jionni has hit the reality TV wall. In January 2018, he made his decision not to appear on Jersey Shore Family Vacation very clear. He wrote on Instagram: “I am CHOOSING TO NOT be on TV because I simply DO NOT like it.” However, he and Nicole are still together. They are the parents of 5-year-old son Lorenzo and 3-year-old daughter Giovanna. Jersey Shore Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8pm on MTV.
