In the Little Big Shots episode “Eggcellent Eggsperiment,” TV host Steve Harvey welcomes a number of talented and passionate young people. While the title refers to an 8-year-old scientist who isn’t afraid to experiment with eggs, it’s Irish singer Kaylee Rogers who steals the show. The 11-year-old with autism doesn’t sing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” alone on the Little Big Shots stage, she’s joined by the most famous a cappella group in the world, Pentatonix.

When not in America, Kaylee attends Killard House Special School in Northern Ireland. The principal of the school, Colin Millar, say of Kaylee: “She’d be a very quiet little girl, but when she sings, she just opens up.” Millar says for a child who wouldn’t really talk when she first came to the school at age 7 or 8, to see her stand and perform in front of an audience is “amazing.” New episodes of Little Big Shots air Sundays at 8pm on NBC.
