On the My Big Fat Fabulous Life episode “Aloha Buddy,” Whitney Way Thore and her friend Heather visit Buddy in rehab. (Buddy has been battling a cocaine addiction.) After Buddy tells them the story of how he got there, Whitney invites Buddy to Hawaii for a vacation. The whole family is going. But in order for Buddy to go, he needs to find a sober coach.
On a lighter note, Whitney’s father Glenn is delighted to take his wife Babs (Whitney’s mother) to Hawaii, a dream vacation destination of hers for years. They’re celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary! However, in this episode there’s a little tension between the happily married couple as “Babs gets jealous over Glenn’s former girlfriend Keiko.” My Big Fat Fabulous Life airs Tuesdays at 8pm on TLC.
