On the Love & Hip Hop episode “St. Maarten Part 2,” Jaquae introduces his sis rapper Brittney “Bri” Taylor to his lady Kiyanne, and it doesn’t go well. Although it’s the first time they meet, they know about each other on social media. Kiyanne says Bri “taunts me online.” Kiyanne tells Bri not to mention her child, and then crosses a line with Bri. When Kiyanne mentions Bri’s grandmother, Bri flips out (and literally flips the table up).
So who is Kiyanne? The 23-year-old single mom raw rapper Kiyanne is from Queens, New York. She’s known for her single “Couple B—hes.” Kiyanne was introduced on Love & Hip Hop as a friend of Bianca Bonnie, Bri’s nemesis. For years Kiyanne has been having to clear the record: no, she’s not gay, and no, she’s not a man. Some say she sounds like a man and moves like a man. Just this week she posted a video defending herself. “I’ll beat your a– like a man too,” was her retort. Love & Hip Hop airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
