In The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode “Petty Mess,” new wife Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave invites the ladies to her beach house in Orange County for a potluck sleepover. Teddi invites Dorit Kemsley even though she says dealing with Dorit is like “water torture.” Kyle Richards makes the mistake of carpooling to Teddi’s place with Dorit, who has racked up the reputation of being late to everything.
Later, with Lisa Vanderpump by her side, Dorit blames Kyle for getting involved in her “conversation” with Teddi. Kyle starts crying. She says she thinks Dorit and Lisa are teaming up against her which provokes Lisa to get up and leave. As Erika Girardi explains: “This whole thing boils down to three bitches who are competitive over friendship.” The next day, Kyle tries to make her point and asks Lisa, “If it was Dorit who was there crying, would you have gotten up and left?” Lisa puts her head down and says, “I don’t know.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
