Two new characters will be introduced in Season 11 of The X-Files. While Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) search frantically for their son William, fans meet a woman in her sixties named Erika Price, and a young man named Mr. Y. Erika is portrayed by Oscar-nominated movie star actress Barbara Hershey. Mr. Y is portrayed by a young man named Alexandre Campion, a French-born model living in Vancouver, Canada (see photos below) who is making his acting debut in the U.S. on the Season 11 premiere of The X-Files.

It would make sense if Mr. Y is a 21st century of Mr. X, the informant who helped Mulder and Scully back in the 20th Century. (Mr. X was portrayed by Steven Williams from 1994 to 1996.) When X was killed he was replaced by Martia Covarrubias (Laurie Holden), but she too was killed off at the end of Season 9. But can anyone really replace Mr. X, who series writer Frank Spotnitz once called “the meanest, nastiest, most lethal killer on the planet”? The X-Files airs Wednesdays at 8pm on FOX.
