In the LA to Vegas episode “The Yips and the Dead,” the flight crew discovers they have a corpse on board. Their difficult job is to manage the passengers once word gets out. But nothing is easy when regular passenger Artem the Bookie is on board and awesomely mustached Captain Dave (Dylan McDermott, see video below!) is trying to land the plane.
Artem the Bookie is portrayed by Peter Stormare. The Swedish-born actor is known for his roles on Swedish Dicks (Ingmar), Longmire (Chance Gilbert), Get Shorty (Hafdis Snaejornsson), and The Blacklist (Milos “Berlin” Kirchoff), among others. Stormare made his American acting debut in the 1996 Coen Brothers film Fargo (as Gaear Grimsrud). He went on to play Dieter in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Lev in Armageddon, and Jeff in Dancer in the Dark with Bjork and Catherine Deneuve, among others. LA to Vegas airs Tuesdays at 9pm on FOX, right after Lethal Weapon.
