On the Teen Mom OG episode “Runways, Rehab, and Retail,” while pregnant Amber Portwood makes her first public appearance with her new boyfriend Andrew Glennon, Farrah Abraham travels to New York. She and her daughter Sophia are getting ready to model at their first fashion show at New York Fashion week. Farrah says modeling “comes natural to Sophia.”
Even though Farrah’s mother Debra “annoys” Farrah, the Teen Mom star says Debra came to New York “to support us.” When Debra arrives at their Manhattan hotel room (rocking a black leather outfit, btw), she presents her granddaughter with an invitation to her wedding. The camera stays on Sophia as she rips it open. Farrah is surprised to see that her mother added EMBA to her name, i.e., Debra Danielsen, EMBA and Dr. David Merz invite you to…” EMBA stands for Executive MBA. When Farrah asks why Debra added it to her wedding invitation, Debra says, “That’s my professional designation. That’s who I am.” Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
