Sister Wives is back and in time to capture daughter Mykelti and her fiancé Tony plan for their wedding. A lot has changed since the last season. For starters, Tony has grown on Kody and Christine so they now approve of the wedding even though Tony is acting like a “Groomzilla” when it comes to Mykelti’s dress and the cake buffet. (Yes, there will be more than one cake available at the wedding.)
When Mykelti and Tony went wedding cake tasting, they brought Kody’s and Mykelti’s moms (with the exception of Robyn). When the baker delivered a number of cakes to taste (German chocolate, mocha, red velvet, et al) Meri, who’s been quiet in most of the group scenes, reached for a piece of cake and handed it to Janelle. “Sisters before misters” Meri said with a laugh. Kody either didn’t hear Meri’s joke or just decided not to respond to it. Sister Wives airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC. It’s followed by Seeking Sister Wife at 10pm.
