On the Sister Wives episode “Meri’s Crazy Idea,” when wife #1 Meri isn’t being lambasted for wanting to pursue something outside of the family, wife #3 Christine is getting emotional. She was asked by her daughter Mykelti to come up with “something borrowed” for her wedding with Tony. Christine says she doesn’t keep a lot of things but she did find her wedding dress. So she cut it up and made flowers out of the material so Mykelti can use them for her bridal bouquet. Note: Christine and Kody are going to celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary in March!)
When presenting flowers made out of her wedding dress, Christine explains to Mykelti, “It’s not really borrowed because I don’t want them back.” Christine said she cried a couple of time cutting up her wedding dress. “But she was really honored to do it,” says her daughter who was touched by the special gesture. Christine and Kody also presented Tony with a gift – a Claddagh ring. It’s what everyone in their family wears. Sister Wives airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC.
