In The Real Housewives of Atlanta episode “Tea Is of the Essence,” while Kim Zolciak-Biermann continues to refute that Kenya Moore’s marriage to Mark is real, a new wife named Eva Marcille is introduced to the group. NeNe Leakes says the 33-year-old fashion model is “a real cool chick who can hold her own.” Eva proves it at the October 2017 Essence release party where everyone is honoring Kandi Burruss, who’s on the cover of the magazine.
At the party, Eva sees Cynthia Bailey and her boyfriend Will. After a brief exchange, Eva tells NeNe that Will has a girlfriend and it’s not Cynthia. Eva and her boyfriend (now fiance, lawyer Michael Sterling, see below) saw Will and his other girlfriend not long ago. When NeNe tells all the ladies (except Cynthia), Kandi says she’s not surprised to hear the news. Without batting an eye, Kenya announces that she’s going to tell Cynthia. NeNe says she’s going to go with Kenya, “Because she might get the information wrong.” Later in the episode, Cynthia tells Will, “I don’t want to date you if you have a girlfriend.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
