In the Black Ink Crew episode “Seoul Searching,” the crew — including Ceaser, Sky, Donna, and Ted — flies to Seoul, Korea to find Bae’s missing mom. (Bae left Korea in 2007 when she was 22.) Bae hopes the disappearance of her mother is just a misunderstanding but she can’t help worrying. When they land, in the cab from the airport, Bae says she feels sick and nauseated. Everyone tries to console Bae and tells her they got her back. “I know if my mom was missing, I’d want someone to help me out,” says Ceaser. Bae says thanks.
When Bae gains access into her mother’s apartment, she’s not there. Ceaser’s cousin Ted says, “This doesn’t seem normal at all.” Caesar agrees. It’s cold, like no one has been in the apartment for a while. Bae’s nerves get the best of her and she literally gets sick in the bathroom. They find Bae’s mom’s phone but it’s blocked and Bae doesn’t know the code. They scramble around the house to find clues and eventually find a prayer that Bae’s mother had written. Bae cries as she reads it. See clip below. Black Ink Crew airs Wednesdays at 9pm on VH1.
