In the Better Late Than Never episode “Berlin – How Do You Say Roots in German?” the guys go to Berlin to find Henry Winkler’s roots. Winkler was born in New York but his parents emigrated from Berlin to the U.S. in 1939, on the eve of WWII. But before things get serious, the affable group goes sightseeing. Near the Berlin Wall, they see NBC Today Show weatherman Al Roker filming in front of the city’s historic Brandenburg Gate. With both teams of cameras rolling, William “Bill” Shatner interrupts Roker’s forecast to ask if he thinks it’s going to rain. Roker appears genuinely surprised to see Shatner. And then Winkler approaches Roker from the other side and says, “Hey, you stole my pants.” They are wearing similar if not identical pink, some might say salmon-colored, pants. Shatner tells Roker, “I’d give them back if I were you.” (Video below.)

Later in the episode, the guys (sans Roker) get dressed up in long tail tuxedos and are treated to a special performance by David Hasselhoff who is a beloved singer in Germany. Why wouldn’t you watch this show? Better Late Than Never airs Mondays at 9pm on NBC.
