In the Lifetime movie Web Cam Girls, high school student Carolyn discovers “camming” — getting sexy in front of a web cam. Under the alias “Naughty Mary,” Carolyn makes a lot of money from her new job. Her cousin Alex (Sedona Legge) warns her about her reputation but Carolyn doesn’t seem to care. Until she wants to get out, which isn’t easy. When Carolyn suddenly disappears, Alex thinks Carolyn did the unthinkable and met one of her clients. She was right and now Carolyn’s life is in danger.
Carolyn is portrayed by Lorynn York. She’s known for her roles on Dear White People (Danielle), Roommates (Lorynn), Social Path (Scarlett Cambridge), and in the films Airplane Mode (Ariel), 2Lava 2 Lantula (Daniella, see link above), and Alibi (Julia), among others. Web Cam Girls premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, December 30 at 8pm.
