In the Terra’s Big House episode “Budget Blues,” the general contractor working on Terra and Joe’s house is excited to show them the master bathroom. All he’s waiting for is the tiles so he can put in the shower. “I feel like I’m in a gymnasium,” says Joe. He turns to his wife and says, “A big open shower with no tub. There’s a lot room to stand in here.” Terra says calmly, ‘That’s what you do in the shower.” Joe reminds his wife that “standing isn’t my favorite thing.”
The contractor warns the couple that if they’re having second thoughts, this is the time to say so. Joe points toward the area where the shower would go and declares, “I will never use this.” Putting in a bathtub will definitely add an extra expense to the renovation. Terra’s Big House airs Wednesdays at 10pm on Lifetime.
