In the Lifetime movie Wrapped Up In Christmas, Heather Nash (Tatyana Ali, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air) has the difficult job of closing struggling stores in an upscale mall right before Christmas. A number of them are mom and pop stores including The Cookie Couple, Gabriel and Agnes. Gabriel is portrayed by Dan Lauria (Kevin’s dad on The Wonder Years). Agnes is portrayed by Mindy Sterling.
Sterling is known for her roles on Con Man (Bobbi, Curley’s wife, for which she was nominated for an Emmy), Black-ish (Pam), A.N.T. Farm (principal Susan Skimore), iCarly (Ms. Briggs), Desperate Housewives (Mitzi Kinsky), and in the Austin Powers movies as Frau Farbissina, among others. Fun fact: Her father was actor Dick Sterling who played Mr. Frye on The Jackie Gleason Show in the late 1960s. Wrapped Up In Christmas premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, November 25 at 8pm.
