In the S.W.A.T. episode “Imposters,” S.W.A.T. imposters are burglarizing homes in an upscale neighborhood. While Hondo (Shemar Moore) gets to the bottom of it, Deacon (Jay Harrington) and Luca (Kenny Johnson) are assigned to protect professional hockey player Bobby (retired NHL player John Scott) after he receives death threats. At the rink, they meet his agent.

Bobby’s agent is portrayed by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. The 46-year-old Democrat has been in office since 2013. Garcetti is the city’s first elected Jewish mayor, and its youngest. He is the son of Gil Garcetti, a former LA County district attorney. While getting his degrees at Columbia University (B.A. and Masters), Garcetti co-wrote and performed in three of the school’s legendary Varsity Shows. This isn’t Garcetti’s first time acting on TV. He’s appeared on The Closer, Major Crimes, and Angie Tribeca, among others. When not overseeing the city and composing music (he’s also a jazz pianist), he and his wife Amy Wakeland (whom he met at Oxford) spend time with their family; they have fostered seven children since their marriage in 2009. S.W.A.T. airs Thursdays at 10pm on CBS. You can also try a CBS All-Access free trial and stream 9000+ episodes plus live TV.
