In the MacGyver episode “Duct Tape + Jack,” Mac (Lucas Till) and the team travel to Ecuador to help a presidential candidate with his heart transplant surgery. A rebel group tries to sabotage the delivery of his new heart. While Mac devises a heater and Tabasco sauce during the mission, they meet (gorgeous) Dr. Alejandra Rosa.
Dr. Rosa is portrayed by Daniella Alsonso. The native New Yorker is known for her roles on Animal Kingdom (Catherine), Being Mary Jane (Marisol Esparaza), The Night Shirt (Dr. Landry De La Cruz), Revolution (Nora Clayton), Fright Night Lights (Carlotta Alonso — see link above), One Tree Hill (Anna Taggarro), and in the 2015 Kevin James film Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (Divina Martinez), among others. MacGyver airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
