In the NCIS episode “Voices,” while McGee (Sean Murray) and Delilah (Margo Harshman) argue over whether to find out the baby’s gender, the team investigates a bribery and fraud case. An NCIS person of interest is found murdered “after a runner is led to his body by a strange voice.” For this episode, Gibbs’ former mentor, deceased NCIS agent Michael “Mike” Franks reappears. (Franks was killed off in 2011, Season 8.) Last time NCIS fans saw Franks come back was in the 2015 episode “Stop the Bleeding,” when Gibbs was shot by Luke Harris.
