In the Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode “The Venue,” while Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) try to track down a missing NYPD horse named Sergeant Peanut Butter,” Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) get a visit from Detective “The Vulture” Pembroke. The Vulture threatens “to swoop in and take something important away from them.”
The Vulture is portrayed by Dean Winters. He’s known for his roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Benson’s ex Brian Cassidy), Battle Creek (Russ Agnew), 30 Rock (Liz’s boyfriend, Beeper King Dennis Duffy), Rescue Me (Johnny Gavin), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Charley Dixon), and Oz (Ryan O’Reilly), among others.
