In the Scorpion episode “It’s Raining Men (of War),” the team works with neighbor Florence (Tina Majorino) to destroy a floating island of trash. But Florence’s contribution to the mission leaves her, Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Happy (Jaydn Wong) stranded on the island, which is quickly dissolving. Meanwhile on land, Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) works with Agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick) who’s struggling with memories of the night his father was fatally shot in a convenience store. Cabe, who was just a child, witnessed his father’s death and still feels responsible.
In a moving scene, psychiatrist Toby tells Cabe, “You’ve taken care of us for a long time, now let us take care of you.” Note: In the flashbacks, Cabe’s father is portrayed by stuntman Craig Branham (the headless horseman on Sleepy Hollow).
