In the Arrow episode “Reverals,” just as Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was starting to get things in order, Black Siren returns to Star City. She launches another attack with her superhuman, high frequency supersonic scream. And she looks fabulous doing it in her signature black leather suit. That’s just one reason why the actress playing Black Siren (aka Laurel Lance), Katie Cassidy, has more than 2 million followers on Instagram.
The daughter of singer/actor David Cassidy, Katie Cassidy is also known for her roles on Gossip Girl (Juliet Sharp), Melrose Place (Ella Simms), Harper’s Island (Trish Wellington), Supernatural (Ruby/Lilith), and 7th Heaven (Zoe), among others. Fun fact: Cassidy made a cameo appearance in the Eminem music video “Just Lose It” (see below) which was nominated for “Best Rap Video” at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards. The multi-talented Cassidy is also creative director of the popular lifestyle/fashion blog Tomboy KC. She’s also engaged.
