The Gifted is the new Marvel action/adventure series about the Strucker family. While the parents Kate (Amy Acker) and father Reed (Stephen Moyer) are ordinary, their kids are not. Daughter Lauren, who is deemed “the perfect child,” due to her intelligence, looks and popularity, actually possesses mutant powers. The whole family goes on the lam and joins a network of mutants in order to survive.
Lauren is portrayed by Natalie Alyn Lind. She’s known for her roles on The Goldbergs (Dana Caldwell) and Gotham (Silver St. Cloud). Fun fact: Natalie Alyn is big sister to Alyvia Alyn Lind, who portrayed young Dolly Parton in the TV movie Coat of Many Colors and Grace on Transparent. The Gifted airs Mondays at 9pm on FOX.
