The Bachelor Next Door is a Lifetime movie about newly engaged couple, Alex and Gavin (Steven Bruns). Everything is great until Donnie, a bachelor, moves in next door. Right away Alex notices that Donnie has a temper. She saw him yelling and “punching the wall like a crazy person.” Alex’s instincts are right-on. Donnie is crazy — crazy infatuated with Alex and Gavin. Alex finds out the hard way just how obsessed Donnie is.
Alex is portrayed by Haylie Duff. She’s known for her roles on Napoleon Dynamite (Summer), Blackout (Suzanne), 7th Heaven (Sandy Jameson), Joan of Arcadia (Stevie Marx), and Lizzie McGuire (Cousin Amy) starring her little sister Hilary Duff, among others. The Bachelor Next Door premiere on Lifetime on Friday, October 20 at 8pm.
