The Gifted is a family sci-fi drama about a seemingly ordinary family. The mother Kate (Amy Acker) is a nurse, the father Reed is a district attorney. But when Kate and Reed Strucker discover that their kids possess mutant powers, they find themselves on the lam.
Reed is portrayed by Stephen Moyer. The English-born actor is known for his roles on Safe House (Tom Brook), Shots Fired (Lt. Breeland), The Bastard Executioner (Milus Corbett), and True Blood (vampire Bill Compton), among others. Fun fact: He is married to his True Blood co-star, Oscar-winning actress Anna Paquin. They are the parents of five-year-old fraternal twins – one boy, one girl. The Gifted airs Mondays at 9pm on FOX.
