In the TV movie A Mother’s Crime, after serving time for killing her husband, Danielle is released and desperately wants her daughter Cali (Allyson Harbert) back. When she went to prison, Danielle agreed to have Cali stay with her sister Nikki (April Bowlby) who provides a safe and healthy home for her niece…that is, until crazy Danielle comes knocking on the door.
Danielle is portrayed by Jenny Gabrielle. She’s known for her roles as young Angie Dickinson in Joel Zwick’s comedy Elvis Has Left the Building, and as Dorothy Norman in the TV biopic of Georgia O’Keeffe opposite Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons. A Mother’s Crime premieres on Lifetime on Friday, October 6 at 8pm.
