During the Third Round of The Battles on The Voice Season 13, coaches Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus all have one steal left. As usual on The Voice during The Battles, surprises abound. Watch for two big steals. According to NBC, new coach Jennifer Hudson of “JHud Productions” has a specific vision for what she’s looking for. And Miley Cyrus “makes a special and very significant acquisition to her team.”

Miley is going to have a difficult time at The Battles, especially after watching and listening to The Battle between Addison Agen and Karli Webster. They sing a slow, sweet country version of Cyndi Lauper’s hit song “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” (video below). Maybe after working with so many women, Cyrus will add a male voice to Team Miley. What we know is this: the move Miley makes tonight is already being characterized by NBC and The Voice PR team as “special” and “very significant.” That’s what they call a “tell” in poker, meaning it’s a give-away-the-information clue about how Miley’s new acquisition will enhance her team. Does a “very significant” acquisition get knocked out in the next few rounds? Probably not — at least not before viewers at home start voting and take things largely out of the hands of the coaches. If NBC is promoting Miley’s new steal as significant, you can bet this particular steal is going to impact the show for the foreseeable future. The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
