On the Black Ink Crew: Chicago episode “I Feel Like Beyonce,” Charmaine tries to persuade tattoo artist Cobra to stay at 9Mag. Meanwhile, the guys meet Cobra’s “girlfriend” Velvet at a strip club (The Boxxx) where she works as an exotic dancer. After her performance, Phor makes a comment like “We know who your boo is,” Velvet asks him, “Who’s my boo?” She explains that she and Cobra “are just friends” and that she can’t help liking the anatomy of men. Phor doesn’t know if Velvet’s just saying that “to get some dollars from us” but he knows for sure “you can’t be playin’ my girl Cobra.” The big question is: Will they tell Cobra?
Keep in mind, just two episodes ago, Cobra opened up about her mental health struggles with Ryan and Don, who’s dealing with his sister’s own battle with depression. When the guys at the strip club talk about who should tell Cobra, they decided no one should tell her. “That s*** gonna crush her.” Black Ink Crew: Chicago airs Wednesdays at 9pm on VH1.
