Evie Clair is one of the six singers who have advanced to the Top 10 finals on America’s Got Talent. All of the acts including 13-year-old Evie will have the opportunity to perform one more time at the Dolby Theatre on Tuesday, September 19, before the winner is announced on Wednesday, September 20.
Throughout the America’s Got Talent season, Evie Clair has spoken about — and been inspired by — her ailing father, Amos Abplanalp, who was battling against stage 4 colon cancer. He was laid to rest earlier this week. According to MormonLight.org, Evie Clair and her sister Kirra sang “a cover of beloved LDS primary songs” at his funeral. In the recording below, Evie and Kirra are accompanied by their mother Hillary on piano. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
