Every year, several hip hop dance crews audition for the popular talent TV show America’s Got Talent. One of the favorites of Season 12 was from South Korea — Just Jerk, but the dynamic troupe didn’t make it past the Live Shows in week one. During the second round of Live Shows, two more dance troupes are vying for a spot in the America’s Got Talent semi-finals — Light Balance (the high-tech LED show from Ukraine, Golden Buzzer from Tyra Banks) and Brobots & Mandroidz, 24 young men from Torrance in Southern California.

What’s surprising about Brobots & Mandroidz is their relatively small following on social media. Light Balance has more than 38,000 followers on Facebook and 7,000 followers on Twitter, while @BAMDance has just over 600 on Facebook and 800 on Twitter. Having a big fan base on social media is definitely an advantage when it’s time to get them to vote! That makes them the underdogs — which could all change as soon as the dancing starts. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
