On every episode of The Gong Show, TV host Tommy Maitland (Mike Myers) welcomes three different judges to the set. For the August 17 episode, comedic actor Joel McHale (Community, The Great Indoors), Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, and funny lady Wendi McLendon-Covey will judge a human-bowling act and a competitive cupcake eater, among other talent acts.
Wendi McLendon-Covey, former member of the famous comedy troupe The Groundlings (2002-2009), is known for her roles on The Goldbergs (Beverly Goldberg), Rules of Engagement (Liz), Reno 911! (Deputy Clementine Johnson), and in the films Bridesmaids (Rita), The Single Moms Club (Jan), and What to Expect When You’re Expecting (Kara), among others. The Gong Show airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC.
