Actress Tara Reid has made a career comeback by starring in the popular Syfy franchise Sharknado as April Wexler. Just days before the premiere of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (Sunday, August 6 at 8pm on Syfy), Reid will star in Trailer Park Shark. Reid plays Billie Jean, a woman who lives in Soggy Meadows, a trailer park that becomes flooded by a tropical storm and brings a hungry shark upriver.
For Trailer Park Shark, Reid reunites with actor Thomas Ian Nicholas, who played her character’s boyfriend Kevin Myers in the cult classic American Pie films. Nicholas is also recognized for his roles on Red Band Society (Nick Hutchinson) and Party of Five (Todd Marsh), among others. Trailer Park Shark premieres on Syfy on Wednesday, August 2 at 8pm.
