When swarms of killer sharks hit landmarks around the world in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, two sexy women at NATO step in to help out. One is in her twenties (Delegate Lee, portrayed by Jena Sims), the other is General Secretary of NATO who is portrayed Nichelle Nichols.

Nichols is best known for her role as Lt. Uhura on Star Trek, the 1960s TV show, and in the Star Trek films in the 1980s and 1990s. Nichols is also recognized for her roles on Heroes (Nana Dawson) and in the 2005 film Are We There Yet? (Miss Mable), among others. Sharknado 5: Global Swarming premieres on Syfy on Sunday, August 6 at 8pm.
