On the new sitcom Marlon, Marlon Wayans plays a man named Marlon Wayne who’s going through a divorce with his wife Ashley (Essence Atkins). For the sake of their children, they try co-parenting. Ashley’s best friend Yvette — who is sexy and single — does not approve. She wants her friend Ashley to move on. Yvette and Marlon clash like Gina’s BFF Pam and Martin on Martin.
Yvette is portrayed by Bresha Webb. She’s known for her roles on Truth Be Told (Angie), Grey’s Anatomy (Teresa Morris), Love That Girl! (Imunique Jefferson), and ER (Dr. Laverne St. John), among others. Webb is also recognized for her roles in the films Meet the Blacks (Allie) and I Really Hate My Ex (Lela). Marlon airs Tuesdays at 9pm and 9:30pm on NBC.
